The Long and Winding Road...

This weeks I Heart Faces photo challenge is "Shadows" and my entry is below.   


This entry happens to be one of my favorite photos taken several months ago and also happens to be a picture of my daughters best friend (whom I Heart very much)!  

This picture brings the song 
"The Long and Winding Road" to mind by the Beatles 
and makes wonder what our little girls have ahead of them.  


A very long and winding road indeed... 


God, please let it be a joyful and healthy road 
paved with the right amount of love and loss 
so they will grow to be strong and brave women.
